9 bridesmaids, lots of lace & burlap, handmade recipe books & wreaths, and a whole lot of love went into the making of Lindsay's bridal shower. You may remember their Engagement portraits from last year, and with only 1 month and 2 days left till the big day it is time to celebrate. My little brother is about to marry the most amazing girl, and we all came together to show her just how amazing she really is :).

Everyone invited was asked to send a favorite recipe and Tara compiled this gorgeous book full of them....

This is my 3rd year photographing the Newmans, and I just love them. I can't even believe how much the boys have grown since I first met them, and Katie is even more gorgeous than the last time. Their starting a new journey this year, and as you'll see from the portraits below it's one filled with joy, happiness, and each other. Mommies and their sons have such an amazing bond, and these just make my heart happy....

::Julia + Andy:: Boulder Engagement Photographer

They met a little over a year ago at work. Their relationship started when he would drive up to Boulder to have coffee with her at their favorite coffee shop, then bike to work together. According to Andy, that's where they fell in love. He took her back to that coffee shop 1 year later and asked her to spend the rest of her life with him. And she said yes, to loving him and living life with him.

I met up with Julia and Andy last week in their hometown of Louisville, just outside of Boulder. Andy and their sweet new addition, Maya, arrived first. When Julia walked in the whole world changed. She lights up everyone and everything around her, and it's contagious.....

Julia and Andy, thank you for inviting me up to Boulder for your session. I loved getting to know you, where you live, and the life your planning with each other. Your love for each other is evident in every move, every look, every glance, and it was such an honor to document it! Not to mention your amazing at location scouting!!! :)

We started off at their favorite coffee shop in Louisville. The atmosphere was amazing....

And then I saw this building, and nearly died. I wish I lived there....sort of :)

Meet gorgeous Kathy and her beautiful baby girl Bella. This post doesn't need me to fill it with many words.....the portraits alone give you a peek of their incredible bond. They've been through so much, still have so far to go, and yet life is still so beautiful and full of joy. I feel so privileged to work with the clients I work with, to be able to tell their stories through images. These two have certainly made me fall in love with being a mommy all over again....  

Hands down one of my favs....

Meet the Rhodes family and their amazingly gorgeous little girls. I can't get over their eyes. REALLY. I love my job, getting to meet new families, capture their babies growing, and their relationships as they unfold. I SO enjoyed our time together as we walked the Broadmoor on one of our unseasonably warm April days to capture the following.
